How billing behaves

Your project memory is not leverage.

A memory layer you can be locked out of is not somewhere you would put anything that matters. So the billing rules are written down here, and they are the rules the code actually follows.

Nothing is ever deleted for a billing reason Not on downgrade, not on cancellation, not when a card expires. Going over a Free limit stops you adding more — it never removes what you already wrote.
Cancelling runs to the end of what you paid for You keep Pro until the period you've already paid for ends, then the workspace returns to the Free limits with every context and every memory intact. Upgrade again and everything beyond the free allowance is there, exactly as you left it.
A failed payment gets 14 days, not a shutoff An expired card is not a decision to leave. Service continues for a fortnight while you sort it out, which is long enough for a holiday and a finance department.
Seats follow your team on their own Adding someone adds their seat and charges the part of the month they'll use. Removing someone ends their access straight away and lets the seat count fall at renewal, because that one is already paid for. You never reconcile a number by hand.

Do I need a card to start?

No. Free is a real plan rather than a trial that expires, and you are never asked for a card until you choose to go to Pro.

Am I charged per assistant?

No. You pay per person. One person can connect Claude, ChatGPT, and anything else they use for one seat — which is the whole point of the product.

What happens if I hit a Free limit?

Osmos tells you which limit it was and what to do about it. Everything you already have keeps working — the limit stops the next addition, not the project.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes — $84 per person per year instead of $8 a month, so about $7 a month. You can switch between the two.

Is my project memory used to train a model?
